Located in a modern 6,000 sq. ft. facility in Germantown, Ohio, our photonic manufacturing facility features multiple photonics labs, manufacturing and testing areas, a shop, and offices. Cracks and Splits Detection: When Toyota needed a way to inspect stamped parts in their stamping dies, we developed a split sensor capable of instantly detecting cracks and splits that were imperceptible to the human eye or touch.
Invisible Safety Light Curtain: Beckman Coulter sought an invisible safety light curtain for their laboratory instrument, and our team at Point Source created the perfect solution.
Ply Loss Detection: Procter & Gamble required online detection of ply loss in a multi-ply product, and we not only developed it but continue to supply it.
Fast and Low-Power Mail Sorting Sensor: Pitney Bowes needed a fast, low-power, easy-to-install sensor for sorting mail, and Point Source delivered without a hitch.
Water-Based Glue Sensor: W.H. Leary needed a fast and durable sensor for water-based glues in their production packaging environment, and we set the industry standard with our innovative solution.
Weather-Insensitive Sensors: Diebold wanted sensors that were insensitive to changing outdoor conditions, and Point Source not only developed them but also continues to supply them.
Cue Ball Sensor: Diamond Billiards needed a cue ball sensor to allow the use of standard cue balls on their pay-for-play table, and our solution outperformed the competition, changing the game.
